Coveted James Beard Honors
Three times is a charm for chef and restaurateur Tim McKee, who
made history recently as the first Minnesotan to be honored with the
James Beard Best Chef Midwest Award after three consecutive
nominations. The recognition shines the national spotlight on
McKee’s innovative cuisine, amidst the best and brightest talent in
the food and beverage industry nationally. McKee received the award
in May at the Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, capping a weekend
of gala social and gastronomic events in New York.
